About the classes and levels :

Classes last 1.5 hours (or 2 hours on Saturday) and are structured in the following way :

1 hour working on postures (posture alignment, muscle tonicity, ligament and joint flexibility, balance, rib cage opening, breath and posture synchronisation)

20 minutes on breathing techniques ( diaphragm, perineum and abdominal organ control)

10 minutes on mantra chanting and meditation (see chapter on mantras)

The ‘restorative yoga’ class :

Is suitable for beginners, pregnant women, people who are not used to exercising, people looking for a gentle or more introspective type of work, people with reduced mobility or those suffering from various pathologies.

The ‘all levels restorative yoga’ class :

Is suitable for people who have already started practising yoga or engage in some form of physical activity, for pregnant women and people looking for inner or more gentle exercise.

The ‘all levels’ class :

Is suitable for people already practising sport or having started yoga (10 hours), for pregnant women (up to their sixth month).

The ‘all levels/Vinyasa 1’ class :

Is like the ‘all levels’ class with the addition of Vinyasa: series of postures synchronising breath and movement with transitions in between postures. This gives the session a dynamic rhythm which provides a cardio-vascular workout.

The ‘Vinyasa 2/advanced level’ class :

You need 20 hours of Vinyasa 1 to practise advanced postures and pranayama.

Acro Yoga: work in pairs or in threes to practise yoga postures involving several people.

The ‘Kids’class

For children from 7 to 11 years old. The class lasts 45 minutes on the mat, one hour including registration and time for a fun take on the theory.

It aims at co-ordinating movements, awakening sensitivity to one’s body, being aware of one’s body, breathing better, concentrating and learning through playing with the postures (as many of them have names of animals).

We provide mats and props in our school.
Bring a towel and comfortable clothes.
We recommend and thank you for arriving 10 minutes before the advertised start time.

We strongly advise that you do not eat within 2 hours of a class.
